God Save the Queen

In honour of The Queen's Diamond Jubilee year here is a picture from the  Sex Pistol's album cover banned during her 25th year Silver Jubilee in 1977.
I have always loved this image. The sentiment was made using the Dynamo Label maker. I love the combination of gingham and lace with this edgy picture.

  1. Hi Fran, thanks so much for joining in our Unstampabelles challenge this month. Isn't it wonderful that we can use the colours of one country's flag to represent another. Great card....love the wording you have used.

    1. I think the idea of using the flag colors was novel and fun. Thank you for giving me the chance to enter.

    1. Yes,I agree, Liz looks like she had a little too much sherry while sitting for this portrait. Thanks for the fun challenge, glad I found you Unstampabelles.

  3. Not my favourite photo of the queen I must admit, but I like what you've done with your card. Great to see you joining in at Unstampabelles.

    1. Thank you HuggiesCrafts. I was wondering if you saw how I had juxtaposed the homey gingham with the subject matter?
