Cahier de Costumes Francais

I am starting a Jessica Sprague free Photoshop class tomorrow and thought I would play around digitally to get my creative juices flowing.
I have been amassing a large collection of Marie Antoinette images and thought this subject would be perfect.
You all might think this is a copy of something you can buy on Etsy but no I made this all myself even if the idea is not original.

Polka Dots

I thought I would play along with CAS-ual Fridays this week because I wouldn't mind winning the prize from their sponsor DeNami Designs.
I have met Nami at craft shows in Dallas; Her booth is always the most colorful and most fun at the show. I have dropped a lot of money whenever I see her. Each year she comes out with fun new items to buy. Last time I enjoyed her pop up cards and her iconic shopping Mimi stamp.
This challenge is about using polka dots so here goes but please don't ask me where my inspiration came from because I don't know what I was thinking when I made this card!

lavender, celery and gray challenge

I stumbled upon CR84FN Color Challenge Blog and said oh yeah this is a keeper.
I love the colors they are using this week, lavender, celery and gray plus I absolutely adore the little sentiment from Dr. Seuss they included in their picture.

Crafty Secrets Linky Party

Hi ya'll,  I was at the Great American Scrapbook Show in Texas last week and met my favorite gals in their Crafty Secrets Booth, Sandy and Vicki. I really enjoyed talking with them and seeing all their new adorable projects. They encouraged me to post my Crafty Secret projects up to their Linky party since I bought two cute stamp sets " Thinking of you" and "Take it Easy".
I decided I wanted to do a clean and simple approach to my card using these stamps. The images were stamped in brown ink, colored with watercolor pencils and fussy cut out.
I made some faux washi tape with my new 2" sookwang tape using another crafty secret stamp. The paper I used to make the faux washi tape was a little sheet of tissue paper that came from the deli/bakery department. I stamped the crafty secret image on the deli paper then applied it to the sookwang (also known as scor-tape) and bingo a rug to ground my card design was made.
