Anna Griffin's Feel Better Card

Happy Craft Month ya'll.

HSN has been on the telly since midnight. Anna Griffin was on and she got my crafting mojo going, so I got out her Botanical Card Making Kit I bought a while back. Unfortunately, I have someone in mind to send a get well card to. You might be familiar with the situation when someone dear to you tells you someone they love has cancer. It is hard to know what to say and how to comfort someone when they are going through such a rough time. But, I think, Anna Griffin's Feel Better card will at least bring a warm smile to the recipient of such a pretty card. Pin It

Pink Poodle Split Background Card

Here is a birthday card I made for my sister who owns 3 poodles.

The poodle stamp was a loose red rubber stamp I bought for 3 dollars at a craft fair. To make it a cling stamp it was mounted with "e-z mount stamp and store" padding. I used versa fine black ink and stamped the poodle all around one piece of 4" by 5 1/2" white cardstock. I colored the poodle with pink chalk.  To see how I made this card check out Darlene's you tube video on darlene's blog as she shows you the "split background card" darlenedesign.com/wordpress/

"Old as Hell" Angels Birthday Card

inside sentiment:

Good News, "the old as hell" angels want you,

Happy Birthday

I have to thank Bird's Cards for giving me this cutting file. This is the third and final card made for my friends and family born in February. This really is a perfect card for someone who owns a motorcycle and this FREE cutting file really is smoking good. I encourage you all to check out Bird's awesome site.

Girlfriends at the Health Club Card

Here is another birthday card for another friend who has a birthday in February.

We once had a conversation about those "big balls" and how we have used them during exercise classes so when I saw this Art Impressions stamp at the recent Mesquite scrapbook convention I know I should make a card with this image for her.

Another Butterfly Card

I really enjoy creating cards with a butterfly motif. They really make a card pretty. I have 3 friends with birthdays in February so I have to get out my butterfly net and round up some pretty ones for my cards.

Here is the first one for a friend who loves purple.

I used watercolor paper to stamp and color with copic markers one of the stamps from the Anna Griffin 18th Century Garden stamp series.
I used Sizzix's stamp and die-cut "Framelits" butterflies #3 to create the butterflies. Some stickles and copic coloring on the butterflies made them really pop. They were attached to Spellbinders die fancy tag two.
Some paper source 1/4 inch cream ribbon and Martha Stewart's arch punch completes the recipe.

I am entering this in My Time To Craft #206 'Things with wings' challenge

To Thank You

Being a paper crafter I have a room full of supplies at the ready in case there is a need to make a card fast. I needed a thank you card and this what I came up with on the fly.
It didn't take too long to whip up after I pulled out the big shot, scoring board and fired up the cutting machine❤
Aren't the butterflies pretty? They are from Papertrey Ink's Beautiful Butterflies Die Collection.
The purple paper is called "beet" from Paper Source.

Freebie Friday Super Bowl Sunday Invite

How about an invitation to send by email. If you customized it in either your word processing or image manipulation programs you could send these.

I know, I know, I did not do a good job with these but I thought what the heck. I definitely need to spend some serious time working on my photoshop skills.

Does anyone know a good on line class or you tube series that could help build PS skills?

The font I used was Myriad 24 and 14 point.
