DeNami stamp challenge #9

I was looking at DeNami's blog and saw that she is having her first challenge of 2012. All you need to do is use at least one DeNami stamp so I used my favorite the daisies and polka dots.

I first stamped the circles using tangerine and lemon chalk ink; Next was the dress form which is a stamp I made with my Teresa Collins stamp maker in versa magic ink then masked it off. Lastly I placed the DeNami stamp on top.
I colored in the daisies with yellow and gold Marvy markers, used a couple of Marty Stew's edge punches on black paper and an oooh-la-la! stamp and I was on my way to linky uppy at the DeNami site before the challenge closes down January 30th. Pin It

Stationary Box

I watched a You Tube video tutorial from Beate at Splitcoaststampers and made this supah dupah cute stationary box.

The box itself is made from (2) pieces of 12" x 12" kraft colored cardstock and some designer paper.

The strip attached to the front of the box was stamped with Versamark ink and the medallion was stamped in Versafine brown and black then applied with dimensional foam.
I used premade Michael's ivory cardstock sold in packets as my base for the A2 cards.
I made Photoshop brushes from some Graphics Fairy images and printed them onto the cards.
The hang tags and 3" x 3" note cards were made with the same kraft colored card stock.

Not bad for some paper and some time, what says you?

New Home card

My niece has bought her first home, you go girl. She moves in around St. Paddy's day. I thought I would send her a little something something since I found out she has a hugh yard but no patio furniture. I like to attach a little envelope inside the card with the "little something". It is a neat and tidy way to present a check.

Bee-otch card

A tongue in cheeky card. A big shout out to Karen at the Graphics Fairy for her daily dose of images and inspiration. Pin It

Going digital

I designed these on letter size paper so they will come out A2 size.
I made them in Photoshop using grayscale then went in to fill areas with color.
Some of the images are from the generous Graphics Fairy.
The card with the bathtub was actually a digital scrapbook layout that I sized for a card and added a digital stamp.
I have so many images on my computer. I need to stop looking to acquire more images and get down to MAKING SOME ART!!! Pin It

Lovely Lavatory Label

A Graphics Fairy image was taken into photoshop and made into this lovely label you see here.
I printed it on an Avery 8 1/2 x 11 white shipping label so there was no worry about lining the image up. Afterward I sprayed some "Preserve It" fixative to prevent any water from marring the inkjet image. Now it is off to stand on my bathroom counter.

Mini Marie Antoinette Christmas Tree

Although this is not a good picture I thought I would post this image for posterity. I must start taking better pictures of my creations. What good is posting them if the pictures are crummy? Pin It

My Christmas mantle tableau

I bought large chipboard letters and using Martha Stewart's decoupage glue and sealer with the brush applicator and her white gold glitter made up a sparkly banner. You can also see Cissy's chandelier and some of my Marie Antoinette paper cut outs. Pin It

Wait, wait there is one more to show

Look at this fabulous chandelier. I am amazed at the detail work. Cissy you certainly outshined me with this one, I can't wait to get the electrician in to hang it up over the dining room table! Pin It

It's magnet madness, it's magnets, it's madness!

I forgot to show you these in the picture from the christmas present post.
Cissy knows I love the kitchy retro look and made these as part of my christmas present booty.
Don't they make you smile?
